Frequently asked questions.

1. What is Hyperhidrosis, and how is it treated?

Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterised by excessive sweating, often beyond what is necessary for regulating body temperature. Treatments work by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the sweat glands in the targeted area, reducing or stopping sweat production.

2. How long does the treatment last?

The effects of Hyperhidrosis treatment can last anywhere from 4 months, depending on the individual. Many clients return for follow-up treatments when sweating begins to return.

3. When will I start seeing results?

Results typically start to appear within a few days to a week after treatment, with maximum results often seen within two weeks. You should notice a significant reduction in sweating in the treated area.

4. Is there any downtime after the treatment?

There is minimal to no downtime with Hyperhidrosis treatment. Most clients can return to their normal activities immediately, though it’s recommended to avoid strenuous activity and certain skincare products for 24 hours post-treatment.
