Aesthetic Nurse Joanna is dedicated to providing personalized care and attention to every client, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant waxing session.

To ensure a successful waxing experience and minimize discomfort, we recommend the following preparation steps:

Hair Length: Hair should be at least a quarter inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for optimal waxing results. Avoid shaving or trimming the hair for at least two to three weeks before your appointment.

Exfoliation: Gently exfoliate the skin a day or two before your waxing appointment to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs. However, avoid harsh exfoliation immediately before waxing, as it can increase sensitivity.

Hydration: Keep your skin well-hydrated leading up to your waxing appointment by drinking plenty of water and moisturizing regularly. Hydrated skin is more supple and less prone to irritation during waxing.

Avoid Sun Exposure: Avoid prolonged sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 24-48 hours before waxing, as sunburned or irritated skin can be more sensitive to waxing.

After your waxing session, it's essential to follow these post-care instructions to maintain smooth and healthy skin:

Avoid Hot Baths or Showers: Refrain from taking hot baths or showers immediately after waxing, as hot water can irritate the skin. Stick to lukewarm water and gentle cleansing for the first 24 hours.

Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 24-48 hours after waxing to prevent irritation and potential sunburn.

Moisturize: Keep your skin hydrated by applying a soothing moisturizer regularly, especially in the days following your waxing session. Opt for fragrance-free and gentle formulas to avoid irritation.

Avoid Exfoliation: Refrain from exfoliating the waxed area for at least 48 hours after treatment to allow the skin to heal properly.

Loose Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing to allow the skin to breathe and minimize friction on the waxed area.
